Description |
This superb form of Clethra alnifolia was discovered down in south Georgia by our friend John Hammond in 2004. He was unable to take pictures at the time, but he said that the flowers were a gorgeous pink. Lucky for us he took cuttings while he was there, as the area is now developed and not a trace of the plant is to be found. We have personally not seen it bloom, but are looking forward to the plants flowering in spring 2006. For gardeners who love to experiment, this would be something fun to try.
