Description 'Nature Nook' is a mystery plant that appears to be in the Genus Satureja, which has been changed to and now is Clinopodium. The origin of the plant is a mystery. We may never find the truth behind it's parentage. Either way it is a kool small evergreen shrub that grows to 2'High x 3'Wide. It is covered in late summer with hundreds pinkish to lavender rosemary like flowers. This mystery shrub grows in about any situation but wet shade. It is a medium lived small shrub giving up the ghost around 4-7 years of age. If we stop and think about it there are a few being long lived and a few being short lived with most falling in the group of medium lived plants. I have yet to get seedlings form this mystery plant. Dark green foliage that resembles a narrow leaf form of Clinopodium georgiana. Every thing about the plat is very similar just a bit trimmer in appearance.
