Description
This species is planted for it seed heads which develop in July and persist into the winter. It is sometimes collected for dry flower arrangements. Does best in moist rich soil in full to partial shade. Spreads slowly from short rhizomes, but quickly from seed. Mature size is approximately 3'High x 5'Wide.
