Description
This upland hickory species grows into a tall straight tree. It is drought tolerant and produces edible nuts. Undersides of the leaves are a sandy color and the bark crisscrosses to develop an X pattern on the trunk, and gorgeous yellow foliage in the fall. Matures to 60'High, occasionally reaches upwards of 80'High.
