Botanical Name Chamaedorea radicalis
Description This palm is the most cold hardy species in the genus Chamaedorea. Reported to take down to 14 Degrees F. Plant this palm as an under story palm in zone 7b? and warmer. It also performs well as a house plant and looks some what like a Kentia Palm with its dark green foliage. Certainly worth try for the temperate palm enthusiast. This native of the mountains of Mexico will slowly form a ticket or colony. It needs winter protection in zone 7b or cooler zones.
Notes
 All of our 1 gallons are grown in a 4x4" square x 14" deep pots and 3 gallon are grown in 7x7" square x 18" deep pots to allow for a deeper root system which aids in our Palms winter survival. Customers are having much better success with our palms surviving the winter over growers that use traditional shallow pots.
