Description This is a unique species of grass that grows in high salt marshes, brackish flats, beach dunes, and red clay as well. It is a clumping grass that will gracefully reach approximately 4'High x 5'Wide at maturity and will grow just about anywhere with at least half a days sun. Sand Cord grass is some what evergreen for us in zone 7. A wonderful alternative for all those weedy exotics being used in landscapes today.
